Faith Fest ’08 is a faith based music festival held at Winder First United Methodist Church as a way to show the community that a church can be/have fun and that religion can be enjoyable even on a Saturday.  This is the 3rd year for this event.  Our last one was held in 2005.  This is a community event not just a WFUMC event.  All churches, all religions, all people are welcome to this event. 

This years event will have a Kids Zone with bouncers games and fun stuff for kids to do, a Food area with vendors selling many different types of food and treats, Crafter area with neat handmade crafts (some with a faith based theme), the Winder Youth Group Pumpkin Patch will be out with many pumpkins available for sale, Church area with many of the ministries from our church providing information along with other churches in the area promoting their church, and of course the main stage area with bands rotating in starting at 12 noon and going until 10pm.  Come on out and listen to great music that is:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

All sales of booth spaces will go to help offset the cost of Faith Fest '08!

Signing up for a booth with us makes your rental of the booth and any donations Tax deductible!

 

HOURS

 

Faith Fest Hours - 11:00 am - 10:00 pm

Live Entertainment 12:00 pm - 10:00pm

Food Vendor Hours 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

Crafter Area Hours 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Church booth Hours 11:00 am - 6:00 pm

Kids Zone Hours 11:00 am - 8:00 pm

 

Of course all are welcome to stay set up till the end of the show but please remember that it will be getting dark and the stage area is the main area with lighting.

 

 

BANDS

 

To see who is coming check out the bands page

  • Time slots are full however, pre-Faith Fest Fundraisers are available to play at.  If interested please contact our Entertainment Coordinators.

  • We ask that you help us with marketing the show by listing Faith Fest '08i on your Myspace account or any website that you have. 

  • All bands are not paid, this is all Faith driven.  Your performance is a donation to the church.  However you are not charged to have a booth set up from 11:00am - 10:00pm to sell any of your merchandise. 

  • Sets run 40 min. each with a 20 min. tear down and setup for the next band.  The headliner would get the 9pm -10pm slot, giving them 1 hour.

CRAFTERS

  • If you are interested in having a booth the registration form is below.

  • Crafters area is from 11:00am until 5:00pm however you are welcome to stay longer if you wish there is no extra charge for staying past the 5:00pm time. 

  • There is no electricity to the area that booths are located.

  • This is an outdoor event so please plan ahead.  We suggest bringing a tent for your space.

FOOD VENDORS

  • If you are interested in selling food at our event registration forms are below.

  • There is limited electricity available in this area.

  • This is an outdoor event so please plan ahead. We suggest bringing a tent or cart to sell out of.

  • We are limiting the number of vendors selling same type of food items.

CHURCHES

  • If you are a Church in the Barrow County or surrounding area and you would like to have a booth at our event please fill out and send in the registration form below. 

  • You are welcome to promote your Church or sell items to raise money for a cause or your church.
